Request Contract - Invoice Plan - Sales Part Periodic Price

Hello,

Within the Service Management module, in the Request Contract screen we are able to define a periodic price when an invoice plan and sales part are selected. When a new service request is created and the request contract is linked to the request, the expectation is to view the periodic price added in the contract either in the request or associated task or invoice preview.

But currently, the price added in the contract is not visible anywhere in the request, task or invoice preview generated. Is there a way or functionality to view this sales part periodic price added in the contract to be viewed from the linked request or invoice? Please let me know.

The invoice plan is used when you want to invoice an amount every x period. It’s commonly used to cover the work that may be performed. The value does not get inherited to Requests but are instead invoiced from the contract itself. 
If you want a fixed price to be inherited to the request you need to define a price rule with a fixed price.

Thank you for the response. But in a price rule, we cannot directly enter a fixed price. We have to mention the price in either the sales or non-sales part.

Currently, in the Service Contracts we are able to define the fixed price for a sales part from the contract lines. This value is visible in the work task when linked to a contract. Is this functionality updated in a Request Contract?

No, that functionality does not exist for Request Contracts. You have to use the price rule for fixed prices currently.
