Hi,

We are planning on importing most of the manual vouchers to Aurena/IFS10 with the external voucher function. Is it possible to import also the header info? I’m looking for the possibility to get the title (marked yellow in the picture) for the manual voucher to be visible in the GL Vouchers Analysis.

On the STDVOU external file template, there is a text option.   It shows in the system defined file as column 25.  A new template can be created from the system defined file and that column placed where you need it to match your upload:

The text option defined in the STDVOU external template passes the text at the line level. Given that this question is already 2 years old, has anyone identified a solution to make the title visible in the voucher header? What we noticed is that once the voucher is created, the 'Voucher Text' field in the header is no longer editable. Thank you in advance.

Hi,

For my clients, it’s fairly common to group the external vouchers and the largest groups such as payroll entry from a payroll processor would / could have different voucher types.

In the payroll example, it’s somewhat common to create a new voucher type and use this for the payroll related external vouchers.

It’s fairly easy to create a small number of new voucher types for groupings.  Then establish different external voucher load types that are then connected to the related voucher type. That allows easy filtering by the voucher type. The detail (rows) can have a variety of attributes for grouping and filtering, such as reference series, reference number, process code (in some cases), and text,

Best regards,

Thomas

We do both as Thomas described, with specific voucher types for specific types of vouchers (payroll related and others) and had our IT group create a custom event that populates the header text with the line text from a specific row on the voucher.
