The ‘Object Group’ is the group, to which the object belongs to. This is defined using ‘Object Group’ window.
‘Object Class’ is more like a sub-class of the object group.
For an example, if the object group is computers, then the object classes could be ‘laptops/desktops/tabs’ etc.
‘Object Classes’ will be connected to the ‘Object Group’ using below highlighted field. Also, if ‘object class mandatory’ checkbox is selected, then it would be mandatory to connect an object class to an object group.

I could add to this topic that these fields are for different purpose. Object group is internal classification of assets, and it is heavily used for posting control purpose, you can connect books and depreciation methods to the group as well, use it in reports criteria, queries and functions (like depreciation proposal).
Object class could be treated rather like external classification of assets (e.g. forstatutory statistical purpose), and its usage is limited to some reports and inventory functionality.
