Hi,

I have a question regarding Recurring Service Program:

Start Occurrence takes into account the valid from on the service scope line or the one in the RSP header? How is it calculated? I read the documentation but it is not very clear to me

Thank you in advance.

BR,

Miruna

Hi Miruna, have a look at IFS Cloud - Next-Generation Service Management demystified (23R2) | IFS Community, there is a chapter ton RSPs.

Start Occurrence defines the first occurrence for which Generable will be set to true. When setting Start Occurrence=2 then the month July is excluded and the service will start in August.

Hi @Alexander Heinze and thank you for your quick reply.🙏

Yes, I agree with you but in this case, something is wrong because if i check the schedule, first occurence is in July even if i put Start Occurence=2..

Thank you,

Miruna

Hi @Miruna M,

The program schedule starts on the Valid From date of the program.

The program occurrences refer to when the actual service should occur based on the calendar trigger you have entered in the program. The ‘Start Occurrence’ for a recurring scope refers to the first program occurrence in which the scope will be included.
