Fixed task going to wrong Engineer before allocating to correct Engineer

Hi Experts,

 

When sending jobs to PSO , it needs an element of time before it sets the job in the correct place, does anyone know how long this duration is? Can the duration be altered? Is it based on the system that PSO is installed onto?

For example, we are seeing jobs with a fixed person go over to PSO in the space for the wrong person, PSO then goes through the motions before then putting the job in the correct space, but this sometimes takes a while.

Are there any parameters that can be altered to help? Would reducing the plan quality (currently at 100) help with this?

Hi,

Yes, reducing the required plan quality would mean that you would receive plans more quickly, so you would see the change to the activity sooner.

The maximum_wait can also be set on broadcasts to ensure that you get a plan within a defined amount of time.
