Are there any plans to support FTPS in Docman?
Our company is very keen on having secure traffic to the ftp-server and do not want to have un-encrypted connection to it, not even from the application server to the ftp-server.

Hej Ove! :)

There are no such plans from what I know.

My guess is that the future is to add a secure and performant “local” storage option to IFS Cloud File Storage (today we only support Azure (BLOB) Storage) and then we hope that the need for SFTP or FTPS will be a lot less important. What’s your thoughts on that?

@Mathias Dahl  - as per your comments - “today we only support Azure (BLOB) Storage”

can you share the steps for the same. Our appliction/IFS Cloud is hosted on Azure

Regards

Pankaj

IFS Cloud File Storage on 22R2 and below is only available in Cloud deployment. In 23R1 it's also available in Remote deployment and then SMB is used for file transfer and storage. Azure Storage is not supported in Remote deployment.
