Hello,

I want to use the functionality ‘Process ID’ on Business Opportunities. If I am correct there is a Validation/Approval functionality which I would like to use. But I am unable to set up the basic data. Here is the issue: I cannot setup the Default Process in CRM and SRM Basic Data. When I save the record I get the Error Message ‘The Rm Proc Process does not exist’. I am also unable to set up a Sales Process Template and Sales Process because there is no Process ID. Anyone who is familiar with this setup and who can help me out?

Hi @BZNSIMON ,

To use sales processes in business opportunities you have to start with creating a sales process template. In the template you define which stages the sales processes created from the template should have.

Next you go to the Sales Process page (or tab if you are using IEE) and click Create From Template. Select the template you created and define the ID and Description to use for your new sales process.

Once the sales process is created you can add required actions for the different stages. If you want to use approval for a stage of the sales process, you can define that for the actions in the stage.

When the sales process is created you should be able to add it as default process so that is automatically selected for new opportunities.

Best regards,

Anna
