Hi all,

We currently have two different companies using Business Opportunities and CRM in IFS Apps 10.

Is it possible to restrict Business Opportunities so that users only see records associated with their own company or site — while allowing managers or admin users access to all companies/sites?

We’ve seen this kind of access control seems possible in IFS Cloud, but we haven’t been able to replicate it in Apps 10.

Example:

Joe Bloggs is assigned to TestCompany1. When he opens Business Opportunities, he should only see TestCompany1’s opportunities — not any from TestCompany2. However, a manager or admin should be able to see both.

Is this kind of filtering possible in Apps 10? If so, how can we set it up?

You need to configure the user’s access accordingly using the User Per Company and Site Per User screen.

Joe Bloggs should have access to TestCompany1 only, while managers and admins should have access to TestCompany1 and TestCompany2.
