Hello,
How can I send an email in IFS other than using an email event action? Can this be done in workflows?
Thanks,
Bryan

According to the search results, it is possible to send an email in IFS without using an email event action. One way to achieve this is by using workflows. A user in the IFS Community[1] suggests creating a custom workflow and using the "Send Email" task to send an email. Another user in the same community[2] asks about using the "Send Task" item for BPA/BPMN workflows to send an email, but it is unclear from the search results whether this is a viable option. MyLabCorp.com

It is also possible to include additional attachments in IFS emailss3]. The COMMAND_SYS mail functionality has several improvements, including the ability to handle attachments in emails. It is possible to add attachments as an array of CLOBs or BLOBs or a file path.

In addition, workflows can be used for various purposes, including sending different emails to contacts based on their location or other static field valueu4], and sending emails based on the attributes and/or behavior of the participating contactst5]. The Workflow Notifications feature can also be configured to send an email whenever a Workflow is triggerede6].
