We have a situation where we are required by a supplier to purchase in full case quantities but the PO has to made in quantities of each in the full case increments.  We want to inventory and sell these parts by the case.  There is functionality in IFS to buy by the case and inventory/sell by the each.  But we cannot find anywhere where we can do the reverse, buy in each, inventory/sell by the case.  Does anyone know if this possible?

You can enter the UoM that you used to purchase from supplier in “Supplier for Purchase part” window. If your inventory UoM is different to that, enter a “Inv Conv Factor”

In Sales part window, you can enter the Sales UoM that you will use to sell it to a customer. If your inventory UoM is different to that, enter a “Inv Conv Factor”

Hope I have answered to your question .

Hi @jtobin ,

Buy in each > Purchase UoM on the Supplier for Purchase Part.

Inventory by case > Inventory UoM on the Inventory Part.

Sell by case > Sales UoM on the Sales Part.

Does this help? I think you also need to use the Conversion Factor on the Supplier for Purchase Part, because your Purchase UoM and Inventory UoM are different.

Kind regards,

Simon
