Demand planner in Apps8(SP1)

For App8/9/10 if you have the .msi SetupForecastServer64bit.msi /SetupForecastClient.msi you may first run SetupForecastServer64bit.msi and then SetupForecastClient.msi and install it to your local machine and setup the server accordingly.

Follow the below path in a build home to find the .msi

Server -  win32server\Demand Server 64-bit\execute\ SetupForecastServer64bit.msi

Client -   win32client\Demand Client\execute\ SetupForecastClient.msi

After installing demand plan server you need to define all basic data DP server ID/Basic flow/Combined flow with master flow and period versions. 

If you have configured,  flows (Base, Combined and Master), Period versions etc. then you have to run the installed demand plan server.

In APP8 we don’t have server dashboard tab in application demand plan server setup. But if you go in to demand plan server( select desktop icon) and there you can check whether server is running or not .
