change company rental asset to company owned

Hello,

One of our users has changed the ownership of a company owned part to company rental asse. is there a way that we can move back to company owned? 

we can’t scrap or count out and receive again as we need to have the exact serial no for the part (system does not allow to have the same serial no for same part duplicates)

Hi ​@Imalka,

Please use the below steps,

  • Go to Inventory Part in Stock window
  • Search and open the relevant part record
  • Check the Ownership Type field
    • It will show: Company Rental Asset
  • Select the line / inventory record
  • From the header actions (or right-click / command menu) choose:
    • Transfer Company Rental Asset to Company Owned
