Assortments - Copying Supplier for Purchase Part to multiple site

To create parts on a mass scale across one or more sites you can use “Create Part per Site” function on assortment. It is possible to create Purchase part, Supplier for purchase parts & Sales parts. Navigator path is,

Inventory / Inventory Part / Assortments

To use this function you should define an assortment structure and connect parts from the part catalog. And you should define all the necessary defaults to the assortments. By using an assortment node in combination with a list of sites, you can create all the parts which belong to the node for each of the sites. For more details, use F1 IFS Help Documentation upon Assortment related windows.

Steps:
1.    Create Assortment structure and connect all the part catalog records you which to copy. From Query part option it is possible to select more parts at once
2.    Define all the necessary defaults on Enter Defaults per assortment window
3.    Activate the Assortment
4.    RMB on relevant node and select Create part per site(s)’

Hope this helps.

That’s the functionality I used. But it did not copy supplier for purchase parts.
