Hi IFS Guru

 

I am trying to down load in excel the list of Work Tasks through Work Tasks through following  path

in Excel format, all the tables was downloaded except the Resource Group description is not appearing in the List  through Column chooser  , is there any way around to appear (Resources Group description for each Task) in List View Setting  then I can include this through Column Chooser and  get this downloaded from Work Tasks list into excel format

 

 

 

We are using IFS Cloud Web version: 22.2.8.20230509084539.0.

Hi @KHAN001 ,

In list view, for a required a column to appear, user should move that column above the red dotted line. Existing column above the line will be replaced by this since a limited number of columns are shown in “List view”.

I guess what you need is to export the details in work tasks page to an excel. An in the excel, you need to have Resource group description as well.

In general, if you need to add any field, you can either choose column chooser if the field is already available. If not, you can add the needed field from the page designer.

 

However, here the concern is, a work task can have many resource groups connected in the resource demands. That is, work task can have multiple resource demands and each resource demand can have different resource groups. In such case, the system cannot find just one value for the resource group and the resource group description. Kindly let us know the exact requirement here, so that we can assist with.

 

However, if you are mentioning about the Resource demands subtab in Work Tasks page, here we can get the resource group description enabled by following the steps below.

 

Steps:

1. Open Work Tasks page and open Page Designer.
2. Select Resource Demands.
3. In the content of the List add field “Resource Group Description”.
4. Save the configuration and publish it.

 

 

 

Now if you select to export option under Resource Demands tab, Resource Group Description will be included in the excel.

Thank you for the follow-up, here is further detail see the down below screen shot

These are the list of Work Tasks, I need  against each of the Work Task ‘ Resource Group” Column should be shown here, but when I use the Column Chooser “ Resource Group” field is not showing otherwise I can add from view listing and it can be shown in the above screen shot. 

 

This will be used for weekly schedule purpose for the technician separated against each discipline resource group such as “ Mechanical” Electrical etc. if in the Work Order there are two Work Task with different “ Resource Group” it should shown in the above column with the same WO number with different Work Task number and different Resources Group.

If you switch to Table View - you should be able to see more columns in your list

Referring to the Thilini’s comment, showing the “Resource Group” against a “Work Task” is not possible as a Work Task can have many resource groups connected in the Resource Demands. But if you expand a Work Task line, you can see the Resource Groups connected to the Work Task under Resource Demands tab as in the below image.
