MWO and Multiple Visits: Missing Setup or Limitation?

Hi All,

I created a task with “Allow Multiple Visit” = True and, as expected, it has more than one Visit ID. However, when I transfer it to mobile, the work assignment does not apply the configuration I need, which is active for MWO.

Is there something missing in my setup, or is it not possible to have an MWO configuration for a Request Work Task when multiple visits are involved?

  • The Allow Multiple Visit option on a work task creates multiple Visit IDs for planning and execution.
  • MWO configurations (such as mobile behavior, layout, and rules) are applied at the Work Task level, not per Visit.
  • When multiple visits exist, the mobile app typically treats the task as a single entity for configuration purposes.
  • Current limitation: Informational and operational settings linked to visits are not fully supported for dynamic configuration in MWO. This means the configuration you expect for each visit may not apply automatically.

 

This is expected behavior. MWO does not currently differentiate configuration per Visit ID.
