Hi IFS Guru,
I am trying to create Fault Report (FR) on the piece of an equipment , selected the equipment, site and item class is connected to Equipment so it is auto populated, when in the “ Fault Information” section try to select “Symptom” is not appearing as drop down menu, is there anyway to connect Symptoms with the equipment type so that when the equipment will be selected in FR respective symptom should appear.
Appreciate your help on this matter.

Symptoms are defined in the work order and PM basic date. In the fault report you can choose the symptoms from this list. I believe we don't have any such option to either auto populate or filter the list to display symptoms specific to the equipment.

You can set up the Failure Analysis per Item Class.
When you now create a FR for an Object of Item Class Crane, you can only select the Symptom s10 and 11.

Not sure in which version of IFS you are working, this is a screenshot from IFS10.

We are using IFS Cloud version 22.1.1, I will try in Cloud version not sure what you have suggested will work in this version
