Yes, we observe the same behaviour in IFS internal environments as well.
- If work task template manually added in the PM Action - Maintenance triggers are not copied
- If PM Action is created from the work task template - Maintenance triggers are copied
Here the reason is, there is a possibility of adding multiple work task templates into one PM Action, so copying maintenance triggers from work task template will make erroneous records as there can be multiple work task templates in one PM Action. Hence the maintenance trigger information will not be copied from the work task template to PM Action when the work task template is added manually to the PM action. So users need to manually set the maintenance triggers according to the business scenarios.
But when users are generating a PM action from work task template, means that users have already selected the work task template which needs to be connected with the PM action, hence the maintenance trigger information will be copied from the selected work task template.
