Hi,

Does IFS have the ability to automatically convert Work Order Purchase Requisitions to a Purchase Order?

Engineers using MWO create multiple PR Lines that are currently manually created into a PO. We would like the System to do this automatically .

Any help / guidance would be apprieciated.

Thanks :)

Hi @lisa.gilesAB ,

You can work with Order Processing Types. In teh Procurment Basic data you can define one like this:

Af that you can connect these types to teh relevant Purchase parts:

If an engineer create a PR for this part on a WO, then the next step is to schedule the automatic Order processing (every hour or so):

This triggers a background job which released the PR and creates a PO.

Please not that if you have set PR Autohorization, that the PO will not be created automatically.

Does this answer your question?

Good luck,

Robert

Due to the way we process our orders, we would only want PR Lines per WO to be connected to a PO - is that achievable?

Thanks,

@lisa.gilesAB

Do you know who the requisitioner is on the PR from the Work Order? In standard IFS the requisitioner is set to ‘WO’. In the Automatic Order Processing you can set this value. This will not be 100% sufficient, but hopefully in your solution it is. Otherwise I do not know of another solution.

Please let me know if this will do,

Robert
