We get a lot of service orders where quantity is 0 for Time travel (t_travel) - this is exported through GL Batch/GL Export. Is there a way to stop this from being exported (when value is 0)?

Hi Bjørn,

You can perhaps use this setting in the GL Application Setup.

Please test and see if this achieves what you are looking for… it should not create a GL Transaction for zero price if this is turned off.

Hmm - we need invoices (orders) for 0 price (so we can capture cost). It’s 0 quantity that creates the problem.

We’ll fix this in the import to ERP I think

Hi Bjørn,

I still might test this if I were you.  The definition I found for this setting is:

This implies if there is a cost, it will be distributed even if this option is disabled.  With a qty of 0, there cannot be a cost or a price it seems to me.

For orders that have a zero price, if there are costs they should still be distributed if you turn this off.  At least that is how I read this definition.  Or you would be right if you also want to capture the other zero cost demands (technically, I would think everything has a cost but...).
