We are working on improving warehouse setup and van warehouse workflow. We have activated Automatic Part Allocation under Material Demand - Workflow(Service), but materials get flagged as Needed even though they are available in the van warehouse. Any pointers?

Perhaps I missed something in your question above but did you check this setting in Logistics Settings:
Note, this only allocates if within the specified number of days between now and the due date.
I did not see the option you referred to in workflow (service).
I think you meant to say prompts (service) not workflow (service) which also has that setting. In any case, I am taking a look.

This is working in our v15.4.1 when I have the Prompts (Service) setting for Automatic Parts Allocation enabled. It did not allocate though I had the Logistics Settings enabled only until AFTER setting it in the Prompts (Service)
I suspect there is an issue in your v15.2. I am working to upgrade you to 15.4.1 now which should fix the issue for you as well but will test after completing the upgrade.

Automatic Parts Allocation Periode was set to 15 days, and the order we tested on had an ETA of 30 days. So the system works as designed :-)
