We have several thousan addresses missing zip codes. Is there a way to force the address validation process to add zip code (if there is only 1 match) in silent mode? And ideally using Geocode only if street address is not the same?
Using interactive mode is extremely time-consuming

This looks like it is an issue as I was able reproduce the silent mode not updating geocdes, etc. for a non-validated address. If you do it interactive mode, it works.
R&D is looking into this now and hopefully will come with a resolution or advice.
After discussion with R&D, SU9 will contain a fix to populate only the geocodes latitude and longitude when it finds only a single match when using the Address Validation module in Silent mode.
If there is a need to populate address information outside of the geocodes, it must be done using Interactive mode.

Alliance SU9 has a release date ETA of 15-Aug 2024 for standard product. Any custom code will take longer to merge code changes. Please see this post regarding Alliance 2024 release dates:
