When an employee record is updated, is it possible to see the ID that changed it and date of change? I’m not finding a field in the export template wizard that provides this information.

If you have access to the database you’ll find this in the employee-table (employee.last_changed_by and employee.last_change_date)
And looking in the Employees import (employee_maint) I find it there as well:
