Hi,

When a service order is assigned to a Service Agent and we want to change the Service Agent , the material stays allocated whitout the previous VAN (Warehouse). (From Whse. is empty.)

When Save the order or try to deallocate the materal we get this error.

This error is logic because you cannot allocated a material whitout a From Whse.

I have manually add the previous VAN Warehouse id in de demand material line in the Database. This way  we can deallocate the material.

Is there way to auto deallocate materials when changing Service Agent., so we do not get the above error?

Thanks

Hi Robin,

Per your mail today, we closed the ticket as you were not reproducing any longer.

Plus my thought about the IMO creation actually should only be once the logistics process has started, not allocated.  It should deallocate automatically and the new warehouse should be assigned to the material demand which is what you were seeing today.

HI Robin,

Please look at this option in Prompts (Service)

It is a bug to me if demand material source warehouse is changed, but remain allocated from the previous warehouse. I would report it to IFS and create a ticket.

Regards,

Joshua

I will look into Joshua’s comment.

For me, if the part is already allocated, I would expect that an IMO will be created to move the part from the original warehouse to the new warehouse. In that scenario, the part would still be allocated in the original but backordered to new warehouse.

In this case, there is not a new warehouse on the material demand which is why I wanted to validate what the current setting is for the change warehouse option when changing the SA.

The warehouse field should not be empty in any case when there is an assigned SA if they have default warehouse which is how most SA are configured normally.

I have checked our settings and Material Demand Warehouse Loading was already checked.
