Warehouse manager flags that a count created this morning is mysteriously missing. I suspect someone has deleted it. Will there be traces of this count somewhere if it is?

I do not believe there are any traces of it after it was deleted. All the stock is set back to unfrozen, the count header and sheets are removed, etc. Even if there is a trace, I am not sure what the end goal of your question is about? Whether you are trying to confirm if it existed or looking to see who might have deleted the inventory count?
I ran a quick test, created an inventory count and confirmed there were rows in all the inv_count tables (except inv_countl_var as no count was done so no variane - table empty for that count). After deleting the inventory count, ALL rows were removed from the database.
The only trace I can think of is if there is a gap in the inv_count_id where you might have say counts 1, 2, 3 , 4 and 5. And someone deleted count 3 so you only have 1,2,4,5 now. But even this is not foolproof as you could create new but then not save, the value for the sequence is consumed on the create new action.
Point is, there is not a specific log file indicating the count was deleted maintained by the system.

The issue is, of course, that the users say that the count has “disappeared”. I beleive someone has cancelled it (probably without realizing it).
Last count IDs I have is from start of May...
