We upgraded from IFS10 Update15 to Update16 and it is now running slower in IEE of IFS.

Hi,

We upgraded from IFS10 Update15 to Update16 and it is now running slower in IEE of IFS.

For example:
- It takes about 5 minutes to display the version information from the menu bar help.
- It takes about 4 minutes to display any screen.
- Searching the navigator menu takes about 5 minutes.

Has anyone experienced slowdowns in IEE with Update 16?
Does anyone know of a workaround to improve this IEE slowdown?

In this situation, we cannot offer our customers to upgrade to IFS10 Update16.

*Aurena runs fine.

We are experiencing similar issues after IFS10 Update20 - but not for all users.

Did you get a solution from IFS after contacting support or maybe you have any tips to share?

Sorry for not updating this page.

We found that downloading by click-once the dlls involved made the operation smoother.

 

Launch IFS10 IEE.
Display "Reports" window or "Notification Schedule" dialog,
or both.

 

Please try it.

Seems we had some issues with a lot of files on local disks as well - removig them looks promising.
