Supported Windows Server Versions for IFSAPP 10

Hi

Currently, we are running IFS Applications 10 UPD24 with Oracle Database 19.8. We are also using Crystal Reports, Touch Apps services, and several additional utilities. Our current operating system is Windows Server 2016.

We are planning to upgrade the server operating system to Windows Server 2022. Could you kindly confirm whether Windows Server 2022 is fully supported for IFS Applications 10 UPD24, including Crystal Reports, Touch Apps services, related utilities, and Oracle Database 19.8?

As per documentations, Windows Server 2022 is supported for Apps10 UPD22 & upwards.
In Summary, for your server setup, below can be guidelines,

  • IFS Middleware Server: Can be hosted in Windows Server 2022
  • Oracle 19.8: Please refer Oracle Docs and adhere to the relevant supported versions for 19c (It should be possible to install on Windows Server 2022)
  • Crystal/TouchApps etc: Can be hosted in Windows Server 2022

Note: Regardless of the Supported Platforms documentations, it is recommended to do this Upgrade in phases, which means you can migrate/upgrade your TST servers and then test application for any flaws and then step by step you can migrate the PRD servers.
