You can use Data Migration for this. Since you haven’t specified an application version, putting the IFSAPP10 documentation link here:

As per my knowledge following steps should do the trick.

• Export the existing data to a file using a Create Output File Migration Job.
• Create a Conversion List to update the old value to the new value.
• Import the data back into the system using an Insert or Update Job

If you are unfamiliar with the IFS Data Migration concept, it would be best to either get some training first or request help from a consultant as this would alter the data in the database and could lead to issues if not done correctly.
