Hi,

We are working on upgrading our IFS 10 UPD 22 version to IFS Cloud 25 R1.

Upgrade. This will be On-Prem to On-Prem Upgrade

We would like to know whether the database upgrade can be performed in a customer-hosted (On-Prem) interim environment rather than doing it in an environment hosted by IFS.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could provide some insight into this matter.

Hi,

yes, you can do it if you have high spec VMs to run upgrade scripts.

thank you

Thank you, @MAKU

hello @VPPEKANATHI @MAKU

is there any step by step guide on how to do the upgrade please? we are studying to upgrade IFSAPP10 image 12 to 25RX

any help would be apretiated

thank you in advance

@N.GEORGI  I also couldn’t find any recent updated document which explains the upgrade process in step by step. Remote Deployment Guide - Technical Documentation For IFS Cloud is also hard to follow.

If you have access to IFS Support Portal, please refer the following Knowledge Base article which includes a step-by-step guide (IFS Cloud Upgrade Guide).

IFS Product - IFS Cloud Upgrade Guide by Delivery- IFS Cloud Uprade Support

The attached document is an older version, and unfortunately, I’m unable to locate the original source of the file.

I haven’t set up a Cloud environment using any of the provided documentation.

If @IFS RD Product Management  @IFS Community  passes threw here :)  it would be helpfull if we could have some detailed docuemntation on the matters please

@N.GEORGI
Thank you for tagging - we will contact relevant teams with the feedback shared on the guides.
