Double entry in permission set

Hi all,

My customer is migrating from Apps75 to Apps10 UPD12.

After the migration the customer imports the permission sets he has already prepared on another Apps10 environment. This has worked fine during the last runs.

But this time after the permission set import he gets double entries in the permission set navigator (see attached screen shot).

Has anyone already had this type of issue ?

Hi @Fabrice 

I recommend to create all permissison sets in IFS App 10. There are many differences between IFS 7.5 and 10. Some screens from App 7.5 don’t exist in App 10 and vice versa.

In fact the customer has already prepared the new Apps10 permission sets on a previously migrated environment. It is when he imports those permission sets on the new environment that he gets those double entries.

OK, I see.

You’ve imported the one permission set and IFS created it twice.

And the same permission set didn’t exist before you have been imported, right?

This is very strange. Do you have this issue with all permission sets?

Maybe you should create a Case.

Hi,

I have additional information regarding my problem.

 

In fact in english language everything is fine. It is in french that the entries are doubled.

Does anyone know where the translations are stored for this navigator ?

I have added a screen shot of the tree navigator in english and in french.
