We are recently in the process of Upgrade from 9 to 10 . Wanted to know if there is any checklist to see if the update is done properly.

A like-for-like upgrade will never be perfect. Only Apps 9 can pass every test designed for Apps 9.
The ultimate litmus is whether you can run your business on it. Unfortunately, among all upgrade activities, testing usually takes the biggest share of resources.
As mentioned above, the best way to identify if there are any issues by testing and verifying the changes of an upgrade when you run your business.
