We are upgarding APPS10-UPD3 to UPD7.
When we are deploying it from Installer it is working fine without any issue and and no invalid objects. Its successful.
But when we are deploying it manually using install.tem, there are issue and the upgrade is failing.
Is there any more scripts we need to execute before the install.tem?
If yes what are those and please share the sequence also to execute it.

It is going to be rather difficult to respond to your question on why manual deployment of Update delivery using install.tem is failing without access to logs or at least type of errors reported.
Since deployment should follow exactly the same steps with exception of parallel deployment that is present in installer. There are no extra scripts that installer would run as far as I am aware. We generally do not recommend using install.tem during installation of Update release since it can extend deployment time significantly (lack of parallel deployment where possible) unless there is a valid reason for it. Before release is uploaded to FTP it is fully tested in installer but we do not run the same test of manual deployment of install.tem.
Perhaps you could send some examples of the errors through a post and we could try to provide you with more details on the reasons of failure.
