Does anyone know how to setup a global number sequence for project ID?
I have tried this - but it is still possible to type in what where I want as project ID when generating a new Project through RMC - new project in the project navigator menu.

You can make the field read only.
This might need to add profile to each user.

Don't forget the “Project Assistant/Wizard”, in order to make it fully “idiot-proof” this cannot be used anymore or with very careful instructions.
