Web Dispatch Console - Assisted scheduling - Assisted Dispatch

Hi

In the Dispatch Console Settings, we have the set up for “Assisted Dispatch” with 3 choices :
next visit, next n hours, current shift


what is the scope of this setting  ? :  all activities allocated or assigned ?  only with the DSE ? 

Is the setting linked to others ?
 

How does it works : if we set current shift : When the current shit will be dispatched ? what is the action : manual or automatic ?

Assisted Scheduling does not use the DSE… please see this excerpt from the Dispatch Console user guide:

 

Reading the explanation below from the same guide:

The scope appears to be restricted to the Allocated calls.  The difference between current shift and next visit is the latter will only Assign the next scheduled job that is allocated to that technician not all of them.  The Next n hours assigns the allocated jobs in the next N hours instead of all of them within the current shift.
