Creating a more "advanced" external search link

Hello,

 

I have seen some topics about the external search link creation and found some helps trough the forum already (and the online help  External Search Development (ifs.com)).

 

However I’m wondering if there is a solution to :

  • search for multiple values on a single token. In example I would like to get the search result of part_catalog for two differents values of PART_NO.
  •  use wildcard character? The help says not possible but if somebody found a way to do it...

Hi Jacq,

 

Not yet found unfortunately, I keep on using the same tricks at the moment (not using a search link) :

  • Getting the construction of the link by the right click mouse button on the object and selecting “Send to > Send to recipient as link”,
  • Then observing the construction ogf the obtained link and modifiying it to fit my requirements,
  • But I did not find a solution for the wildcard yet…

I’m busy on other stuff at the moment but will update if I find something later on.
