Hello,

I am looking for help to get a clear set of instructions on how to get MWO working with IFS Cloud. I have noticed there is a lot of documentation that depends on which version you are installing. I am looking to setup the most recent on Aurena Native.

Following Questions:

Am I to follow the Regular Set of instructions for installing the Touch Apps Server? - IFS Touch Apps Server Installation

I am having a hard time understanding how to get data to be sent between IFS Client and MWO, is there a clear set of instructions for this?

I found the following Mobile work order pages:

Both of these pages mention different permissions that need to be setup. Should I be referencing both of these pages?

I also noticed the one page mentions Group Push and that Users need to be connected to sites. Is there anywhere that clearly explains how this can be setup?

Any help is appreciated.

You are linking to documentation for 21R2 but mentioning “most recent version”.

Touch App Server is not applicable for IFS Cloud, so you don’t need to worry about that.

Here are details around setup for mWO on IFS Cloud 24R1 (latest, up until today, when 24R2 was released)

Just to clarify - are you running IFS Cloud yourselves on premise (remote deployment) or do you use it hosted by IFS?

And are you planning to use MWO Service or MWO Maintenance?

@Alexander Heinze  We are running Cloud on Premise and I believe we plan to use MWO Service but would like to test using both. We are currently upgrading our system from Apps 10, so we are trying out the features that are available.

In that case the links shared by André will help. In addition, have a look at

Group Push makes sense if several technicians share the same data, typically found in MWO Maintenance. In Service it's more common that every user receives their own set of data, that's why e.g. Equipment sync in MWO Service switched from group to batch.

This is great, thank you @Alexander Heinze. Already from what I can see in the pdf, it will help us get our users started using the app.
