Stop Clock In popup on Work Assignment Status change (IFS EE)

We are on Apps 10, and just updated from Update 9 to Update 15.

Within Enterprise Explorer when right-clicking on a Work Assignment and setting the Status to Work Started, this Clock In popup now appears (and for Work Done). It did not previously.

We do not use clockings, in favour of manual Time Reports.

How can we turn the Clocking dialog off for Work Assignment status changes within IFS EE?

Hi Garak,

There is a setting in the Site window that controls whether the Clock In/ Clock Out dialog should popup when the Work Assignment is set to Started/Completed(Incompleted).

Refer the attachment for the setting.

 

But after the UPD15 release we noticed that when the Work Assignment is set to Started the Clock In dialog was raised irrespective of this setting set as TRUE. 

This issue was fixed through bug ID http://lcs.corpnet.ifsworld.com/login/secured/buglnw/BlBug.page?BUG_ID=162531.

This bug will be incorporated in UPD 16.

Hi Garak,
 

This should be disabled from the site level. You can go to the site window > Maintenance tab and disable the functionality as below.

Thank you @Chathuri Peiris and @ereslk,

I can confirm that option is turned off, so take it that its the bug in Update 15 causing this. I’ll log a case with support.

Confirmed with Global Support it was a bug introduced in Update 15. We’ve now been provided a patch to fix it, which has resolved the problem.
