This a functionality of document management where this is used to send a document file by e-mail. A copy of the document file is attached to an e-mail message, and data from the document revision is automatically entered into the text field of the message. You can define document default values SEND_FILE_BY_EMAIL_SUBJECT for Subject and SEND_FILE_BY_EMAIL_BODY for Body, then content of the e-mail can be predefined for relevant attributes. Later you only need to address the e-mail and send it.
You should have the following to use this functionality
The selected document revision must have a connected document file.
You must have view access to the document revision.
You must have a mail client with MAPI support installed on your computer. ( This will be enabled by default, if not you can check with your system admin)
Aurena agent should be installed. ( You can get this file in Add-On and install it if not installed)
With this setup, when you click the option Send Document File by Email a new e-mail will open with the pre-define subject & body along with attachment as mentioned above.
