Travel days should be excluded from absence record

I need help regarding “Absence Configuration” for following scenario:

Employee need to go on annual vacation to his/her home country. When employee apply the absence, his/her travel days should not be deduction from leave balance.

e.g. Employee Leave Balance is : 24

Leave applied : From 5th Apr 24 (Friday) to 22nd Apr (Monday). There are 10 working days in between, so system should reduce only 10 days leave balance. 5th Apr and 22nd Apr will be considered as Travel Days, so it should not deduct from the balance.

    @vickyrohilya This will done through only basic data setup. So please check your basic data setup If your issue does not resolve I will help you.

    I have tried from my end, but it doesn’t work.

    It will be great if you can tell me about set-ups need to be done to achieve this requirement.

    @zuhaib : In Travel Request Configuration, it can be configured with Absence Type but there is no option available to exclude travel days for absence. 

     

     

    Kindly check scenario mentioned into my request and let me know if this is feasible?
