Audit queue is not working as expected

Forum|alt.badge.img+6

In the Audit queue, when tried to run throws an error :

Exception Info ==> 0
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.
Exception Info ==> 1
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Stack Trace ==>
   at Astea.NextUI.GUI.AsteaGridViewControl.AsteaGrid.ContextMenu_Click(Object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
   at System.Windows.EventRoute.InvokeHandlersImpl(Object source, RoutedEventArgs args, Boolean reRaised)
   at System.Windows.UIElement.RaiseEventImpl(DependencyObject sender, RoutedEventArgs args)
   at System.Windows.Controls.MenuItem.InvokeClickAfterRender(Object arg)
   at System.Windows.Threading.ExceptionWrapper.InternalRealCall(Delegate callback, Object args, Int32 numArgs)
   at System.Windows.Threading.ExceptionWrapper.TryCatchWhen(Object source, Delegate callback, Object args, Int32 numArgs, Delegate catchHandler)

We cannot get the log for this in the event viewer as well.

What should be done? This prevents the invoice process.

Hi,

When is this happening:

Automatically when you first open the Audit Queue before executing a search?

Is this only when you right-click on a returned row to execute invoicing?

Is this affecting all users?

What version of Windows is your OS Client?

Have you logged this with Alliance EMEA Support yet as this is looks like it will be a support issue?

Usually, object reference errors not set to an instance of an object mean related data is no longer present so it could be data corruption.

Hi Narendran, Is the issue with only with some orders? Please log a ticket with IFS with all the details. Please send us examples where it failed.

Kind Regards,

Eisha

Hi Eisha,

Yes, it is occurring for all the orders.

We have logged a ticket (EU0073595@@1) in vendor portal.

Hello Phil,

Automatically when you first open the Audit Queue before executing a search?

Is this only when you right-click on a returned row to execute invoicing?

The error appears,

  1. when I right click on any order and click “Audit rules check”
  2. If I click run without selecting checkbox of any order (for all orders matching the criteria)

Is this affecting all users?

Yes

What version of Windows is your OS Client?

Windows 10 Enterprise

Have you logged this with Alliance EMEA Support yet as this is looks like it will be a support issue?

Yes, EU0073595@@1

Hi Narendran, Thank you for your detailed reply. Can you please send me teams invitation? We don’t have the same data. It seems like data issue. Let see if I can check and guide you further directly in your Production.

I am available now to have a quick chat.

Kind Regards,

Eisha
