Alliance 15.4.2 - problems attaching Excel files to orders etc

We have always attached different documents to orders, customer, contracts, etc. After going from 15.2 to 15.4.2 we find that one of the Excel woork books we often attach (as xlsx) gives the following error: 

There are photos in the work book, and if I remove these I can upload as normal. But we did not have this issue in 15.2

Hi Bjørn,

I did a quick search for support tickets indicating issues with attachments since SU2.  It seems there was a fix that was supplied in SU3 so officially upgrading should resolve the problem.

However, until that time, you should be able to use the following setting in your global.xml via the configuration editor in your profiles - Globals section.

 

According to the ticket: 'EnableUploadFilesWithActiveContent' with default value FALSE. .When it is set TRUE, this issue does not happen’

Hope this helps as both a work-around and also how to fix it later with an upgrade.
