Hello,
Through several rounds of system performance health checks with our FSM6 (u25) instance, a recommendation was made to perform a daily restart of IIS on our web and application servers in the early morning hours (e.g. 4am). This practice however has become unreliable and often fails resulting in a scramble when users start their day and are met with an unresponsive system. I’m looking for any suggestions on how this is being done by others and if there are any thoughts on scheduling a server restart instead of just IIS as we would be able to put better measures in place to ensure the server actually restarts with little human intervention.
Thanks,
Richard
