Need help - on component repair job completion FSM

Forum|alt.badge.img+6

In RMA task, trying to check “ready to ship”  checkbox and save, but getting an error “Parent unit cannot be marked for shipment when component repairs are in-process”.    Component repair task is already maked (task_status) as completed after swap.

Please advise, what is missing?

Hi @Asterix,

You indicate that the part has a task_status of completed, is this on the line of the parent RMA or on a separate RMA? It may be worth checking the rest of your open RMA’s to ensure that none of them are for, or contain, any of the parents components on them as this may be relating to another RMA in the system.

Are you able to expand more details on the message? If so that additional information could help you track down the specific record causing the lock.

Kind regards,

Lee Pinchbeck

This looks to be the same issue as raised in https://community.ifs.com/service-fsm-touch-apps-document-management-mwo-mro-pso-43/shipment-of-parent-product-3324

You may wish to subscribe to that topic as well in case that receives an answer before this one.

Hi @Asterix,

Did you find a solution to this issue? If you have would you be able to update this thread with the solution and mark it as best answer so that others with the same issue can then share in the knowledge?

Kind regards,
