Question

RRP Load Analysis

Forum|alt.badge.img

My company uses IFS 10 and I have a question regarding RRP load analysis. We Master Schedule our finished parts but not subcomponents. Some of our subcomponents are processed through work centers in-house. RRP appears to only show the load of finished parts that are master schedule and in an MS set. Subcomponent demand is not showing up in RRP load analysis. This creates an issue by only showing part of the load on a work center when using RRP.

I experimented in our IFS test environment by adding a subcomponent part to Master Scheduling. After running MS Level 1 and MRP the part still failed to show up in RRP Load Analysis.

I need to see the total load on work centers from finished parts as well as subcomponent parts. Does anyone have insight into what RRP is looking at and how to add subcomponent load to RRP?
