External link to subfolder in folder tree

It is possible to create an external link to a document folder, e.g. https://<landing_page_url>/client/runtime/Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.application?url=ifsapf%3AfrmFolderInfo%3Faction%3Dget%26key1%3D1234567%26COMPANY%3D1

That link will open the Document Folder Navigator with the selected folder (key1=1234567) as root folder. The Folder Details to the right is showing the information for that particular folder.

My question: Is it possible to get a link to a folder that selects one of the subfolders in the shown folder tree to the left and shows the information for that subfolder in the Folder Details to the right?

I’m going to say probably not…

 

My guess would be that its a similar answer to this thread: https://community.ifs.com/technology-all-about-the-nuts-and-bolts-that-make-it-work-50/shortcut-to-specific-tab-1018

 

So regardless of what you put in the address it will just default the cursor to the top of the navigator tree.

So you can either go direct to the subfolder or go to top of the folder and navigate through to the subfolder.

Correct. This is not possible. Such a feature would need to be “coded” into the form. What is your use case for this?

I could link directly to the subfolder. But then I don’t see where in the folder hierarchy that subfolder is placed (the point of my original question). Is it possible to navigate up from the subfolder in an easy way (without copying the parent folder name and search for it)?
