When Databases migrated or moved to new VMs, IFS instances needs to reconfigure accordingly. But reconfigure keeps failing as connection string attached to IFS APPS10 can't be change when initiating reconfigure. Please see attached snap . Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @Dilhan Perera @Chathuranga Samarakoon ,

In IFSAPP10, changing the database connection string needs to be done using IFS Middelware Server Admin Console.

Please note that “IFS system user password” field only becomes visible when you make a change to the connection string and the save button only gets enabled when you enter the IFS system user password(IFSSYS).

This is only one of many configurations that has been moved from the installer to IFS MWS Console, so if something that used to be in the installer before IFSAPP10 is no longer there, you should look for it in IFS MWS Admin Console.

Hope this answers your question.

@Dilhan Perera yes, its in the IFA Apps9 but, in IFS Apps10 there is no option to do so.

Hence, As a solution we are normally re creating the Instance with the new database conation details.

Hope this will helps you out.
