Hello IFS Community,

I recently encountered an issue where I was unable to export Quick Reports to PDF from IFS Cloud using Google Chrome.

The export function worked perfectly when using Microsoft Edge.

The solution that fixed the issue was to completely reinstall Google Chrome.

I'm posting to see if anyone else has experienced this or might know the potential root cause.

Thank you

We have seen this issue with a couple of ITAR customers and the issue seems to stem from the Chrome updater, which breaks the PDF export functionality. As you mentioned, the solution is to completely uninstall and reinstall Chrome. This has been tested internally and resolved the issue for all affected users.

Here are the steps we used:

1. Back up your bookmarks:

  • Open Chrome, click the three-dot menu (top-right).
  • Go to Bookmarks > Bookmark manager.
  • Click the three-dot menu in the Bookmark manager, select Export bookmarks, and save the file to your computer.

2. Uninstall Chrome and Delete Chrome User Profile:

  • Open Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
  • Find Google Chrome, select it, and click Uninstall.
  • Remove Chrome user data:
    • Press Windows + R, type "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Google", and press Enter.
    • Delete the entire Chrome folder.

3. Reinstall Chrome:

  • Download the latest version from www.google.com/chrome.
  • Run the installer and follow the prompts.

4. Restore bookmarks:

  • Open Chrome, go to Bookmarks > Bookmark manager.
  • Click the three-dot menu, select Import bookmarks, and choose the file you saved.

5. Go to IFS Cloud, open a Quick Report, and try exporting it to PDF to confirm the issue is resolved.

6. If necessary, reinstall any Chrome extensions or add-ons.

5. Go to IFS Cloud, open a Quick Report, and try exporting it to PDF to confirm the issue is resolved.

Hi

How do you export a quick report to PDF in Cloud?

I am seeking a alternative to Quick Print.

Regards

Anna

Hi,

You have to export or to print the Quick report as a PDF.

I don’t think there is an automatic solution.

Hi, I’m not using Crystal Reports, I created a Quick Report based in SQL Statement. Is it possible to export to PDF this quick report? If yes, please, show me how can I do it.

Thanks,
