Dear Experts,

I tried to add three new customer fields to Customer Window of IFS EE. This is how i tried to do that.

  1. First i have identified the Logical Unit that i need to add the field.
  2. Then i went to Custom Field, fetch the CustomerCreditInfo LU then went to add the field.
  3. Field type - persistent, then gave the name , then assign the data type, then gave the properties, lastly gave the publish information i have ticked the public and approve.
  4. then right click on the header and i have published the three fields. now all the three ticks are checked.
  5. then i went to the refresh server cache and refreshed the security, reference and object connection.
  6. then i went to the customer window and credit info tab. i have right clicked the and navigate to custom objects - fields..

but the issue is i can not see the three fields that i added in the custom field window.

Hi @imalkac,

You have followed all the required and correct steps to add Custom fields.

Please Reload Configuration and then check whether the Custom fields appears.

Dear @Abdul

I have already done that. but it’s not showing..

Hi @imalkac,

I hope you are aware that any field(s) added to CustomerCreditInfo would only be available for view CUSTOMER_CREDIT_INFO by default.

Please check the screen view where you are trying to add custom fields. Is it set to CUSTOMER_CREDIT_INFO only, or is it something else? If it is something else, then you need to approve those views as well. Please refer to the screenshots below.

 Hope this helps.

Dear @Abdul

here is the thing that i noticed. when we create a custom object cfv will create right. LU used view name is customer_credit_info_cust. if i am right i think the new generated CFV must name like customer_credit_info_cust_cfv right??

but the created CFV is named as customer_credit_info_cust_cfv will this is an issue??

Hi @imalkac,

You just need to approve your custom fields for the customer_credit_info_cust View, as I highlighted in the above screenshots.
