Warehouse Route Order does not update the Pick List with Source Type "Shipment Order"

Dear IFS Team

While testing the  Warehouse Route Order on Bin level, I’ve noticed that the Pick List for the Shipment will not be sorted according to the Route Order logic when the Source Ref Type is “Shipment Order”.

For the other common objects like Customer Order, Shop Order or Material Requisition it works fine.

I guess this is due to the fact that Shipment Order is a “new” function in IFS Cloud.
Can someone from the IFS Team verify whether this is an official gap?

Hi Nikola,

For me this seems to be a defect in the core product.

I was working at R&D at the time when the Warehouse Route Order was introduced in the product and the idea is that this would be the general traveling sequence through the warehouse.

Best Regards

Fredrik

Hi @FleNikolS

Yes, as Fredrik mentioned, this is a product defect, not a configuration issue.

Shipment Order pick lists use ConsolidatedPickList, which sorts locations alphabetically instead of by route order. Customer Order, Shop Order, and Material Requisition use reports that already implement route order sorting. Actually, : ConsolidatedPickList is shared by all inventory pick lists — fix improves all, but regression scope is wider than Shipment Order alone.

Please report this issue as a support issue, IFS team will investigate further.

regards,

Piyal
