User Edit Access to Change Rejected Purchase Req Line
Version: APPS 10 and Aurena.
Our users create and submit purchase requisitions in Aurena using the “My Purchase Requisition” screen. Authorizers will later approve or reject the purchase requisition line. The issue we have is when an Authorizer rejects a requisition for a reason that requires the original requisitioner to make a change and submit the req. again. For example, change pre-posting or price. The original requisitioner can see the rejected purchase req. line in the My Requisitions section but there doesn’t appear to be a way to grant edit permissions to these screen. The only way we have found would be to give the user access to Purchase Requisition lines, but this would give access to all purchase requisitions, not just theirs.
Has anyone found a solution for this?

Unfortunately, we face the same issue with “My Purchase Requisition” screen. Soon after the PR is created there is no option to release it either. “My Purchase Requisition” screen is very limited in functionality. I always, wanted to raise a ticket/idea, but never found the time / motivation as the usual Purchase Requisition screen does the job. It would be great addition if the system can handle changes on “Mr Requisition Screen’.
Hi @saab_cjones and @malik.sally,
Yes, it is correct that the edit option is not available for My Requisition screen, though required control can be configured through Page Designer. Like, the edit option should be conditionally available for Purchase Requisition/Part Requisition lines or Purchase Requisition/No Part Requisition lines tab in Purchase Requisition screen.
Refer to the screenshot below, where the edit option would only be available for system-generated Purchase Requisition or PR Requisitioner is a system-logged-in user.
@saab_cjones, you submit an idea to have the edit option available for My Requisition screen.

Thanks Abdul. But I can’t find the CRUDActions options. Possibly My Requisition screen is looking at the ReadOnly Entity (PurchReqLineQuery). Couldn’t find the same entity as per your screen print (Assume you demonstrated from the standard PR screen).
Hi @malik.sally,
Yes, you are correct. I suggested configuring the page designer for the standard Purchase Requisition screen only. In addition to this, the user should have read-only access to the Purchase Requisition lines screen.

Thanks Abdul. That might defeat the purpose for some customers as they may be use LTU’s which grant access only to My Requisitions. Anyways, will try your suggestions.
Thank you both for your replies and the helpful information. Not sure yet exactly what direction will go just yet.
