Dears,

the team try to move part from location to another location, but they faced this error (kindly check attachments)

what is the cause of this error?

can I cancel count report to solve this issue?

Hi,

though this is likely not urgent anymore, the issue related to stock being frozen due to an active inventory count.

On the Create Count Report page, the setting is enabled by default but can disabled before finishing the count report creation.

And like you suspected, Count Reports can be cancelled either via the dedicated Cancel Count Report page or Count per Count Report header.

Hope this helps going forward.

Hello @Mikko K. ,

I canceled the report last time but now I know also about this choice.

Thank you.

Hi @Norahmf,

it’s just important to understand that if you are executing an inventory count WITHOUT freezing stock for the duration of a count, then it is still possible to at the same time:

  1. move stock around with Transport Task, Move Inventory Part etc.
  2. consume stock via Customer Orders, Shop Orders etc.

This of course then needs to be taken into account when performing a count.
